A fantastic petite pedal harp for new harpists or gigging professionals

This Salvi Daphne 40 harp would make a perfect first pedal harp for a student making the leap or a great secondary harp for another gigging professional. Manufactured in 1990 in an ebony finish that’s no longer produced apart from special orders, this harp has been meticulously maintained during my ownership since 2018 with regular maintenance, and kept in temperature- and humidity-controlled environments. This harp has had biannual regulations by Certified Harp Technician Steve Moss, most recently in April 2024 along with a full new set of Bow Brand strings (2nd octave in gut), and cosmetic work done to repair some dings to the finish and soundboard in September 2025 by Certified Harp Technician Manuel Gamalinda, who checked the regulation and determined that it did not require any technical maintenance during this visit.

The harp is in structurally sound condition and has remarkably smooth and quiet pedals for a harp of its age, making it the perfect harp with which to learn pedalling or for performance settings. (Check the video below to see what I mean!) While the finish is no longer pristine, the recent work done hides practically all of the harp’s blemishes to your audience. The price includes a dust cover and three-piece Lyon & Healy transport cover.
